Nicholas S. Schorsch

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Schorsch founded and formerly served as President, CEO and Vice-Chairman of American Financial Realty Trust from its inception as a REIT in September 2002 until August 2006. American Financial Realty Trust ("AFRT") is a publicly traded REIT listed on the NYSE that invests exclusively in offices, operations centers, bank branches and other operationally critical real estate assets that are net leased to tenants in the financial services industry, such as banks and insurance companies. Through American Financial Resource Group and its successor corporation, American Financial Realty Trust, Mr. Schorsch has executed in excess of 1,000 acquisitions with a transactional value of approximately $5 billion. In 2003, Mr. Schorsch received an Entrepreneur of the Year award from Ernst & Young. Mr. Schorsch was a board member of NAREIT from 2005 to 2006.

William M. Kahane

President, Chief Operating Officer and Treasurer

Mr. Kahane began his career as a real estate lawyer practicing in the public and private sectors from 1974 to 1979. From 1981 to 1992 Mr. Kahane worked at Morgan Stanley & Co., specializing in real estate, becoming a Managing Director in 1989. In 1992, Mr. Kahane left Morgan Stanley to establish a real estate advisory and asset sales business known as Milestone Partners which continues to operate today. Mr. Kahane worked very closely with Mr. Schorsch while a trustee at AFRT (2003 to 2006), during which time Mr. Kahane chaired the Finance Committee of the Board of Trustees. Mr. Kahane is currently a Managing Director of GF Capital Management & Advisors LLC, a New York based merchant banking firm, where he directs the firm's real estate investments. GF Capital offers comprehensive wealth management services through its subsidiary, TAG Associates LLC, a leading multi-client family office and portfolio management services company with approximately $5 billion of assets under management. Mr. Kahane also was on the Board of Directors of Catellus Development Corp., an NYSE growth-oriented real estate development company.

Peter M. Budko

Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer

Mr. Budko founded and formerly served as Managing Director and Group Head of the Structured Asset Finance Group, a division of Wachovia Capital Markets, LLC from 1997-2006. The Structured Asset Finance Group structures and invests in real estate that is net leased to corporate tenants. While at Wachovia, Mr. Budko acquired over $5 billion of net leased real estate assets. From 1987-1997, Mr. Budko worked in the Corporate Real Estate Finance Group at NationsBank Capital Market (predecessor to Bank of America Securities) becoming head of the group in 1990.

Michael Weil

Executive Vice President and Secretary

Mr. Weil is one of five senior executives at American Realty Capital. At a strategic level, Mr. Weil is integral in originating investment opportunities by building partnerships with corporate tenants, financial institutions, developers and brokers. Tactically, Michael manages our coverage teams and coordinates our property due diligence efforts, having the senior responsibility for sourcing, negotiating and closing ARC's real estate acquisitions. In addition, Mr. Weil is charged with the responsibility of providing strategic planning, management and operational oversight for Realty Capital Securities, ARC's related broker-dealer.

Mr. Weil was formerly Senior Vice President of Sales and Leasing for AFR. In that capacity, he was responsible for the disposition and leasing activity for a 37.3 million square foot portfolio. During his tenure at AFR, his division increased occupancy and portfolio revenue through the sales of over 200 properties and the leasing of over 2.2 million square feet, averaging 325,000 square feet of newly executed leases per quarter. Prior to AFR, Mr. Weil was President of Plymouth Pump and Systems, where he led the company's transition from a traditional generic distributor to a custom manufacturer of specialty equipment and products. He successfully grew the business over a ten year period. By the time Mr. Weil left the company to join AFR, he was the majority shareholder.

Brian S. Block

Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Block began his career in public accounting at Ernst & Young and Arthur Andersen from 1994 to 2000. Subsequently, Mr. Block was the Chief Financial Officer of a venture capital-backed technology company for several years prior to joining American Financial Realty Trust in 2002. While at American Financial Realty Trust, Mr. Block served as Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer from 2003 to 2007 and oversaw the financial, administrative and reporting functions of the organization. He is a certified public accountant and is a member of the AICPA and PICPA.

Marc Zahr

Vice President

Mr. Zahr joins American Realty Capital as a Vice President responsible for analysis and acquisitions of net leased properties across the country with long-term, high-credit tenants. Prior to joining American Realty Capital, he was a Bond Trader at the Chicago Board of Trade and a Private Wealth Associate at Merrill Lynch's Private Banking and Investment Group. At the Chicago Board of Trade, Mr. Zahr had various responsibilities, including trading the futures market yield curve and the hiring and training of all new recruits. At Merrill, Mr. Zahr was responsible for business development, asset management and consulting clients by analyzing their financial situations and developing strategic solutions for implementation. Mr. Zahr holds his series 7 and 66 licenses.

Michael Reiter

Vice President

Mr. Reiter joins American Realty Capital as a Vice President responsible for the financial and real estate analysis of potential acquisitions, taking an active role in all stages of the investment process. Prior to joining American Realty Capital, he was a Director with BTR Capital Group, a private real estate fund sponsored by Studley, Inc. At BTR, Mr. Reiter was involved in originations, financial analysis, and underwriting. Prior to BTR, Mr. Reiter was a Manager in Ernst & Young's Real Estate Advisory Services practice, where he performed various underwriting, due diligence, and valuation services for major real estate companies. Previously, he worked in Ernst & Young's Assurance Advisory practice, where he performed financial statement audits for real estate clients. Mr. Reiter is a Certified Public Accountant.

James Hennessey

Corporate Controller

James Hennessey joined American Realty Capital in October 2007 as the Corporate Controller. Mr. Hennessey is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the accounting function, including internal and external reporting, in addition to regulatory filing requirements. Prior to joining American Realty Capital, he was a Manager with Blackman Kallick Bartelstein, LLP, a Chicago based middle market public accounting firm. At Blackman, Mr. Hennessey worked in the Assurance Advisory practice, where he performed financial statement audits for the firm’s largest and most prominent clients. Mr. Hennessey is a Certified Public Accountant.

James A. Mezzanotte

Due Diligence Coordinator

Mr. Mezzanotte is responsible for coordinating the firm's due diligence and closing functions. Mr. Mezzanotte is also responsible for coordinating the project management and portfolio management processes. He reports directly to Nicholas Schorsch and William Kahane. Prior to joining American Realty Capital, Mr. Mezzanotte was engaged as a consultant by American Financial Realty Trust. In this capacity, he managed process mapping for all departments as they related to the company's leases and tenants. The results were then applied to the preparation of playbooks for the company's three largest tenants. Mr. Mezzanotte previously served as a consultant to Bank of America for a period of three years. His primary responsibility was managing, structuring, negotiating and coordinating a series of sale/leasebacks designed to substantially reduce the Bank's vacancies. He also had oversight of all closing and post closing items including surveys, lease supplements, measured drawings, environmental issues and demising work for over 500 buildings. Mr. Mezzanotte has been engaged in the real estate business for over 20 years as an owner, contractor, developer and consultant. He practiced law for over 20 years, specializing in tax and corporate matters.

Ran Fuchs

Senior Associate

Mr. Fuchs is responsible for the financial and real estate analysis of all potential acquisitions at American Realty Capital, taking an active part in all stages of the acquisition process. Mr. Fuchs was responsible for international business development for an investment shop focusing on commodity and semi-specialty petrochemicals.

Curtis Parker

Senior Analyst

Mr. Parker analyzes potential acquisitions, sources debt, and is responsible for closing purchases and sales. In addition, Mr. Parker assists in the management of owned assets. Prior to working at ARC, Mr. Parker worked for a private equity firm in New York as an assistant asset manager. There he managed a national portfolio of office and retail buildings. Previously, Mr. Parker held positions with a securities broker and an accounting firm in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
