* The minimum investment for most states is $1,000. However, the following exceptions apply:
1. In Maine, New York and North Carolina, the minimum investment is $2,500. However, it is $1,000 for these states if invested as part of an IRA.
2. In Minnesota, the minimum investment is $2,500. However, it is $2,000 for this state if invested as part of an IRA.

Investor Suitability

For potential investors to qualify to invest in our REIT, they must meet the following net worth and/or gross income requirements:

  • The investor must have a net worth of at least $250,000*
OR
  • The investor must have a gross annual income of at least $70,000 AND must have a net worth of at least $70,000

In addition to the above-mentioned requirements, investors must also meet ALL of the following conditions:

  • a relatively long-term investment
  • not need immediate liquidity from their investment
  • not seek a short-term investment

* Net worth calculation above excludes the value of the invesors’s home, furnishings and other valuables.

* Upon the death of a shareholder, on request, we will waive the one-year holding period and repurchase at a price equal to the price paid for the shares. We limit the number of shares redeemed pursuant to our share repurchase program which may prevent us from accommodating all redemption requests made in any given year.
